Learn how to create a very intense vortex swirl with various rotation and filter methods.

Step 1: Start off with a new 400x400px document, now press d to reset your colors to defaults.

Step 2: Next fill your background with black (Ctrl + Backspace), now goto Filter->Render->lens Flare (settings movie prime 100%), now place them like i have below.


Step 3: Now duplicate your layer (Ctrl + J), now with your top layer selectedgoto Filter->Sketch->Chrome (Settings 4,7),now change your blending mode to "Lighten", now merge your layers (Ctrl + E).

Step 4: Next duplicate your layer (Ctrl + J), now with your top layer selected goto Edit->Transform->Flip Horizontal,now change your blending mode to "Lighten", now merge your layers together "Ctrl + E), now u should have somthing like below.


Step 5: Now duplicate your layer (Ctrl + J), now with your top layer selected goto Filter->Blur->Radial Blur (Settings 100,zoom,best),next colorize (ctrl + Alt + U), now colorize any color that u like, i did a dark purpal, now change your blending mode to "Saturation",now merge your layers together (ctrl + E), now u should have somthing like below.


Step 6: Now duplicate your layers (Ctrl + J), now with your top layer selected,goto Filter->Distort->Glass (Settings 5,3,frosted,100%),next goto Filter->Blur->Gaussian Blur (Settings 6.0px), now change your blending mode to "Lighten",now merge your layers together (Ctrl + E), now u should have somthing like below.


Step 7: Now duplicate your layer (Ctrl + J), now with your top layer selected goto Filter->Artistic->Plastic Wrap (Settings 2,2,7), now change your blending mode to"Pin Light", now merge your layers together (ctrl + E).

Step 8: Next Duplicate your layer again, now with your top layer selected goto Filter->Render->Clouds, Now colorize the clouds any color u like i used a light green,(ctrl + Alt +U),now change your blending mode to "Overlay", and now merge your layers together (Ctrl + E), now u should have somthing like below.


Step 9: Now duplicate your layer (Ctrl + J), now with your top layer selected goto Edit->Transform->Rotate 90Cw, now change you blending mode to "lighten", now merge your layers together(Ctrl + E).

Step 10: Now duplicate your layer (Ctrl + J), now with your top layer selected goto Edit->Transform->Rotate 90 ccw, now change your blending mode to "Lighten",now merge your layers together (Ctrl + E).

Step 11: Now duplicate your layer (Ctrl + J), now with your top layer selected goto Filter->Distort->Twir (Settings 105), now change your blending mode to "Lighten", now merge your layers together(Ctrl + E), now u are done add some text and call it good, hopefully u got somthing like me below.
