Create the Ultimate Filter Effect
using my duplication technique.
Step 1: Open a new document 400x400 pixles,
make the bg black.
Step 2:Go up to Filter->Render->Clouds.
Step 3:hit CTRL+ALT+U , use my settings.
Step 4:Now duplicate the layer and go up to Edit->Transform->Filp
Horizontal. put the blending mode on lighten and merge layers.
Step 5:Now duplicate the layer again and go to Filter->Sketch->Chrome,
use my settings.
put the Blending mode on overlay, you should have something like this.
Step 6:Duplicate the layer again and go to Filter->distort->Wave, use
my settings.(note your wave might come out different then mine.)
Step 7:With the same layer selected, Duplicate it and go to Edit->Transform->Flip
horizontal.Put the blending mode on lighten and you should have something like
this. (Note, do not merge onto BG layer)
Step 8:Now Hit CTrl+Alt+U and use my settings.
Step 9:Duplicate the layer and go up to Edit->Transform->Flip Vertical.
put the blending mode on Color Burn. (merge layers)
Step 10:Now Put that layers blending mode on Overlay and you should
have something like this.
