Learn how to make a very simple blurred warp
effect.
Step 1: Start with a new document 350x300px, and fill the background
black, and go up to Filter->Render->Lens Flare (Options: Movie Prime). Locate
the Lens Flare like below.
Step 2: Now go up to Filter->Sketch->Chrome (Options: 10,10).
Step 3: Now duplicate the layer and put three new Lens Flare like
below, the middle one is normal Flare, the top left and bottom right flare
are Movie Prime flares.
Step 4: Now go back up to Filter->Sketch->Chrome, and use the
same settings and hit ok.
Step 5: Now go up to Filter->Blur->Radial Blur (Settings: 100,Zoom,Best).
Step 6: Now go up to Image->Adjustments->Hue/Saturation (Settings:
Colorize Check Box), Move the toners till you get a red color like below.
Step 7: Now set the top layers blending mode to Screen.
Step 8: Selec the bottom layer, and go to Image->Adjustments->Hue/Saturation
(Settings: Colorize Check Box) and move the toners till you get a orange
color like below.
Step 9: Now select the top layer and go up to Layer->Merge Down,
and duplicate the newly merged layer, with the new layer, go up to Filter->Blur->Motion
Blur (Settings: 30).
Step 10: Set the blending mode to Lighten and add some text,
and call it good.
