Create this Muddy Texture.

Step 1: Create a new document 400x400px and make the bg black.

Step 2: go up to Filter > Render > Clouds.

Step 3: Duplicate the layer and go to Filter > Artistic > Fresco.



Put the blemding mode on Pin Light and merge layers.



Step 4: Now hit CTRL+ALT+U and use my settings.



Step 5: Duplicate the layer and go to Filter > blur > Gaussian Blur. use my settings.



put the blending mode on Darken and merge layers.
