Create a Simple Lava, very cool looking effect

Step 1: Open a new document, 400x400px and make the bg black.

Step 2: Go up to FIlter > Render > Lens FLare. use my settings.



Step 3: Duplicate the layer and go to Filter > Distrot > Twirl. use my settings.



Step 4: out the blending mode on Linear Dodge and merge layers.



Step 5: Duplicate the layer again and go to Filter > Distort > Wave. use my settings.



Step 6: Put the blending mode on Linear Dodge and merge layers.



Step 7: Duplicate one more time and go to Filter > Distort > Shear. use my settings.



Step 8: Put the blending mode on lighten and merge layers.



Step 9: Duplicate the layer and Hit CTRLALT+U , use my settings.



Step 10: Put the blending mode on Linear Dodge and merge layers.
