Learn how to create a cool neon hyper swirl effect.

Step 1: Start off with a new 400 x 400 px document, press "D" on your keyboard to reset your colors. Make your background black.

Step 2: Place a standard lens flare in the middle of the document.


Step 3: Filter > Distort > Ocean Ripple (15, 20).


Step 4: Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation (75, 100, 0).


Step 5: Filter > Stylize > Wind (Wind, From the Right). Do this twice.


Step 6: Duplicate the layer, Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur (5px). Set the blending mode to "Screen," and merge the layers (Ctrl + E).


Step 7: Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates (Rectangular to Polar).


Step 8: Duplicate the layer, Edit > Transform > Flip Veritcal. Set the blending mode to "Lighten," and add some text, and your good!
