Laern how to create a simple yet effective halftone style photo effect.

Step 1: Start off by opening the photo you would like to apply the effect too.


Step 2: Create a new layer. Filter > Render > Clouds.


Step 3: Filter > Sketch > Halftone Pattern... (1, 5).


Step 4: Set the blending mode to "Color Dodge," and the Fill to 75%. That simple, but that effective.
