Learn how to create an amazing fierce fire explosion starting from just a red arrow!

Step 1: create a new document 500x500 pixels, make the bg black.

Step 2: create a new layer and make the foreground color this (ff0000). Then take your Costum shape tool(U) and change the shape to Arrow 9, and draw one like i have below.




Step 3: Now go down to your layer styles and choose gradient overlay, use my settings below.


Step 4: Now go to Inner Glow and use my settings below.



and you should have something like this.


Step 5: Now go to Satin,and use my setttings below.



you should have something like this.


Step 6: Now create a new layer under the Arrow layer, and merge the arrow layer on the blank layer. (removeing Layer styles without effecting the image.)


Step 7: Duplicate the layer by CTRL+J and go to Filter->Artistic->Plastic Rap Use my settings below.


Step 8: After that go to Image->Adjustments->Hue/Saturation(CTRL+ALT+U) and use my settings.



Put the Blending mode on Multiply and merge layers. you should have something like below.


Step 9: Duplicate the layer and go to Filter->Distort->Wave and use Default settings. put the Blending mode on Color Dodge and the Opacity on 45% then Merge layers. (wave effect might come out different) you should have something like below.


Step 10: Duplicate the layer useing CTRL+J, Then hit CTRL+ALT+U(Image->Adjustment->Hue/Saturation) use my settings below.


Step 11: Haveing the same layer selected, go to Filter->Blure->Radial blur, and use my settings below.


Step 12: Haveing the same layer selected, take your Rectangular->Marquee tool and drag across the layer like shown below.


Step 13: with that part of the layer selected hit CTRL+D and put the feather on 15, delet one time. you should have something like below. (merge layers)


Step 14: Duplicate the layer useing CTRL+J and go to Filter->Distort->Wave, use my settings below.


Step 15: with the same layer selected hit CTRL+J to duplicate the layer and go to Edit->Transform->Flip Horizontal merge thoughs layers and then Duplicate again (CTRL+J) and go up to Edit->transform->Flip Vertical, put the blending mode on screen and merge the layers. you should have something like below.


Step 16: Now move the Image in the middle of the page and take your Rectangular marquee tool and Drag a box across the top and hold shift and drag a box across the bottom, like shown below.



Now hit CTRL+D to feather it, put it on 15 and hit delet two times. you should get something like below.


Step 17: Duplicate the layer useing CTRL+J and then go to Edit->Transform->Flip 90dg and put the blending mode on Linear dodge and merge the layers and you should have something like below.


Step 18: Duplicate the layer useing CTRL+J then go to Filter->Distort->Wave use my settings.



Duplicate the layer useing CTRL+J Then go to Edit->Transform->Flip Horizontal (merge layers) you should have something like below.


Step 19: Duplicate the layer useing CTRL+J Then go to Edit->Transform->Flip 90dg. (Merge Layers) You should have something like below.


Step 20: Now hit Ctrl+alt+U use my settings.


Step 21: Duplicate the layer and Hit Ctrl+ALt+U again and use my setttings.


Step 22: Put the blending mode on Color Dodge and merge layers! and you should have something like this.
