Learn how to create a very simple dark water effect,

Step 1. start off with a new 400x400 px
background, now press d to reset your colors to default.
Step 2. now goto Filter->Render->Clouds, next goto Filter->Sketch->Chrome
(Settings 4,7), now colorize (Ctrl + Alt + U), choose a dark blue.
Step 3. next goto Filter->Artistic->Plastic Wrap (Settings 6,1,2), now
duplicate your layer (Ctrl + J), now with your top layer selected gotoFilter->Blur->Radial
Blur (Settings 100,zoom,best), next change your blending mode to "Color", now
merge your layers together (Ctrl + E), now u should have somthing like below.
Step 4. Now duplicate your layer (Ctrl + J), now with your top layer
selected goto Filter->Blue->Gaussian Blur (Settings 6.0),next colorize (Ctrl
+ Alt + U), i chose a dark green,now change your blending mode to "Color
Burn",now merge your layers together and now u are done, now u should have somthing
like mine below, now just add some text and call it good.
