Learn how to create a very basic professional signature to expand other possibilities.

Step 1: Create a new document 400 x 130 pixels, with a white background. I than took the Rays of Heaven tutorial, and place that image in the background for this sig.


Step 2: I than found a picture I would like to use, which just happens to be good ole Goku.


Step 3: I than place the image of Goku on the left side of the sig, I shrunk him up a bit with the Transform Tool (CTRL + T) to fit him in properly. I than change the blending mode to "Hard Light," and desaturated him by going up to Image > Adjustments > Desaturate (CTRL + Shift + U).


Step 4: I than duplicated the Goku layer, and went up to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur (Settings: 5px). I put the new layers blending mode on "Screen," and changed the Fill to 50%.


Step 5: I than chose a cool font I liked off dafont.com. I typed out "STYLEZ," which is my gamer tag. I put these settings for outer glow. To apply "Outer Glow," just click this icon at the bottom of the layers pallete, just make sure you have the text layer selected.
