Learn how to design your own 3D piece of paper in
photoshop!
Step 1: Make a new document 450 x 300px. Fill the background DEDEDE.
Make your foreground color White, and create a new layer. On the new layer,
draw a rectangle like below, and cut three circles out of it, by getting your
"Elliptical Marquee Tool" And draw a small circle over one area and hit DELETE,
than drag it down to the next and repeat the same process three times total.
You should now have something similar to below.
Step 2: Now slap some text, and right click on the newly created text
layers and hit "Rasterize". I used (Tahoma 10pt None) for the text. Now with
the text layers rasterized, you should have something like below now.
Step 3: Now merge all the layers down except the background layer, by
selecting the very top layer and hitting Ctrl + E to merge down, and do it as
many times till its all merged on layer, you should have a total of two layers
though, the one piece of paper layer, and the background layer.
Step 4: Now with the paper layer selected go up to Edit -> Transform
-> Perspective, and make it look like below and than hit ENTER to apply.
Step 5: Now go up to Edit -> Transform -> Scale OR hit Ctrl + T to go
into Transform mode, and make it look like below by rotating and resizing (resizing
can be done easier if you hold shift, and select a corner point and drag while
holding shift). You should have something like below.
Step 6: Now add a drop shadow to the piece of paper by right clicking
on the layer and hitting "Blending Options". I added a little more, but now
you have the basic concept of creating a 3d looking piece of paper.
